Firefighting and Evacuation Robot Hecthor to Be Showcased at IDET 2025 in Brno

We are pleased to announce that our multifunctional UGV robot Hecthor will be showcased at IDET 2025 – the leading international defence and security technology fair, held in Brno, Czech Republic, from May 28–30, 2025.

🔹 Visit us in Hall P, Booth No. 80
🔹 Event date: May 28–30, 2025
🔹 Live demo of robotic technology for rescue, firefighting and military support

At our booth, the ProLab Engineering development team will present the latest UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) and robotic systems for firefighters, armed forces, and first responders. You’ll see the Hecthor firefighting robot in action, along with other prototypes designed for evacuation, logistics, and high-risk missions.

What is a UGV and why is it crucial for firefighters and the military?

A UGV – Unmanned Ground Vehicle – is a remote-controlled or autonomous ground robot designed to operate in environments too dangerous for human responders. These robotic platforms are increasingly being used in:

  • 🔥 Firefighting in high-risk or confined areas (industrial zones, warehouses, tunnels)

  • 🚑 Evacuation of wounded soldiers or civilians from areas under fire or chemical contamination

  • 📦 Logistics and resupply missions in conflict zones or inaccessible terrain

  • 📹 Remote surveillance and thermal monitoring of hazardous areas

  • 💣 EOD operations and explosive threat neutralization

Hecthor – Versatile UGV for firefighting, evacuation and logistics

The Hecthor unmanned ground vehicle is built as a modular solution for both civilian emergency response and military deployment. Key features of the Hecthor robotic system include:

  • 💧 Water flow of up to 2,000 liters per minute – ideal for large-scale fires

  • ⚙️ Payload capacity of 500 kg – can carry supplies, equipment, or stretchers

  • 🛞 Tracked chassis – navigates rubble, debris, and difficult terrain

  • 🔥 Heat- and blast-resistant – for use in war zones and hazardous environments

  • 🔋 Operating time up to 14 hours on a single charge

  • 📡 Remote-controlled operation – for safe deployment from a distance

IDET 2025: Robotics for Defence, Safety, and Crisis Response

IDET (International Defence and Security Technologies Fair) is Central Europe’s most important showcase for military innovation, robotic systems, unmanned technologies, and rescue equipment. By visiting us at IDET, you’ll have the opportunity to:

✔️ See the Hecthor UGV live and up close
✔️ Discuss custom configurations and integration options with our engineers
✔️ Explore robotic firefighting and evacuation technologies in action
✔️ Learn about real-world deployment in conflict and disaster zones (e.g., Ukraine)

Visit Us – The Future of Emergency Response Is Unmanned

Unmanned ground systems like Hecthor are revolutionizing the way we approach safety, defence, and disaster response. By replacing or supporting human personnel in high-risk zones, they save lives, increase efficiency, and enable missions that would otherwise be impossible.

Come see how Hecthor – the Czech-made firefighting and evacuation robot – is shaping the future of robotics in public safety and military logistics.
